Grammy Winner, Burna boy is the latest cover star of the Evening magazineweekly issue of. The superstar is frank with the UK post about wanting to escape the hectic confines of his life, with London being his second home, his discussion with P Diddy and much more.

On the upcoming release of an album:
No, I must miss them a bit. “I’m going to stay realistic with you, I wanted to release an album, I was working and, as always, the music was coming, but I just thought to myself: why am I doing this and what am I trying to prove ? So I cool down.
On his charity and the constitution of funds for the FinSRAS victims:
It was a very strange time. I started getting phone calls: people want to know why you are not involved. Why do you say nothing ? But, as soon as I heard something, I took action. This is who I am. I have experienced so much in the hands of people that none of it surprises me. You have to understand this: I realized, very early on, that if you are fighting for someone, then only use one hand. One to fight and the other to defend yourself from the person you are fighting for!
On his daring works of art and life-size paintings of himself, colorful creations in his seven-bedroom Lagos pad:
I was passionate about art when I was younger, I drew and I painted. I have been in love with art for a very long time because I can find such similarities in all disciplines – it is about leaving a piece of one’s soul on canvas or on record.
On his dream of a silent retreat:
I’m going to grow a big beard… and shave my head. I’m going to get away from it all and be quiet for a while. It goes a long way – like an iPhone charger to the mind.
