Kendrick Lamar Confirms New Album ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’

The TDE rapper has confirmed the details of his upcoming album.

Kendrick Lamar has announced his next LP, and it’s titled Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. It’s due out May 13, 2022. Read the announcement below.

Last August, the rapper revealed that he was working on new music. He also announced that his new album is set to be his final LP for Top Dawg Entertainment. “I feel joy to have been part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years,” Lamar wrote. “The struggles. The success. And above all, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling.

Lamar is scheduled to perform tracks from the new album at the Milano Summer Festival on June 23. He was also confirmed for his Glastonbury debut the same month.

Earlier this year in January, Lamar also revealed that he was teaming up with Dave Free and South Park’s Matt Stone and Trey Parker to produce an untitled comedy. Vernon Chatman is writing the screenplay. The comedy will be produced by pgLang, along with Park County and Paramount Pictures.
