Moziak magazine’s latest issue highlights dancehall superstar Stonebwoy

Following the release of his new single “Blessing»Featuring the Ghanaian-American activist rapper, Vic Mensa, Moziak Magazine shines the spotlight on award-winning dancehall superstar BET, Stonebwoy.

The singer describes his new song as a “message of hope and faith expressed in our lives that we can do by following up on our positive statements with hard work.”

On what he thinks about his album “Anloga Junction” making it to Moziak’s best albums of 2020 list.

I feel good to have pushed against all odds to make such an awesome album with a lot of potential still to be tapped. Especially in the midst of a very crazy season called corona.

How did you manage to build a brand that is so goodappreciated and loved by all?

Thank you. I have succeeded in building a brand as strong as this one by following my vocation as a spokesperson for the voiceless… singing songs that live with people and being true to myself!

You’ve just released a new single with US-Ghanaian rapper Vic Mensa. What made him the perfect person to collaborate with on this track?

When the opportunity arose for him to be on my record, I chose a rhythm like this for him to work because you discover that the instrumentation is good for both of us to express our talents and represent always for the Afrobeats culture.

What message do you want to convey with “Blessing”?

The message is a message of hope and faith expressed in our lives that we can make by following up on our positive statements with hard work.

What’s next for Stonebwoy for 2021?

Tours, more music, books, films and podcasts, humanitarian work …
